“Break out the Tim-Tams!” Members of the band U2 replied directly to fans on social media, which is the band’s unique way of declaring that they’ll soon be on tour in Australia and Asia.
U2 will be opening the The Joshua Tree Tour 2019 at Auckland in New Zealand before heading to Cebu Pacific Air destinations Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, Tokyo in Japan, and — for the first time in their 40-year career — Seoul in South Korea and Singapore.

“We really, really wanted to bring The Joshua Tree to New Zealand, Australia and Asia” said lead guitarist, The Edge. “We promised we would and finally, now we can say that we will see you in November… It’s going to feel like a homecoming and we are very excited.”
The Joshua Tree features U2’s persistent and undying no. 1 hits: “With or Without You” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” It’s estimated that over 25 million copies have been sold of this album to date.
Lead vocalist Bono said: “It’s only taken me 30 years to learn how to sing these songs and it’s great to be able to say that I’ve finally caught up with the band. Our audience has given the Joshua Tree a whole new life on this tour.”
