Guess Which Country is the ‘Second Most Instagrammable Place in the World’

The Philippines is second in a list of 50 Most Instagrammable Places in the World, as ranked by travel website Big 7 Travel — and we know why.

The Philippine Department of Tourism thanked Big 7 Travel for the country’s place on the list, which puts The Philippines just behind Tokyo, Japan and ahead of Paris, France and New York City in the United States. The writeup on Big 7 cites the Phiilppines’ “incredible natural wonders like an underground river and tranquil rice terraces in addition to a vibrant culture and history spanning several millennia; and over 7,500 islands – the Philippines as a whole are extremely Instagrammable. From the bustling capital of Manila complete with colourful colonial streets to the absolute oasis of Boracay, the gram opportunities here are endless.”

That’s something we Filipinos already know, and we’re thrilled that the rest of the world is beginning to know this, too. And if anyone needs more proof, here it is:
