With the Enhanced Community Quarantine in the areas covered by NCR Plus extended for another week, or until April 11, 2021, only essential travel is allowed in and out of Metro Manila.
Cebu Pacific and Cebgo will be cancelling select domestic flights from Manila during this period. These destinations are Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Coron, Kalibo, Legazpi, Pagadian and San Jose.
The Inter-agency Task Force has also approved the request of the local government of Western Visayas (Region 6) to temporarily suspend the arrival of passengers until April 10, 2021. This has resulted in the cancellation of flights between Manila and the following cities: Bacolod. Iloilo and Roxas; and flights between Cebu and Bacolod, as well as Cebu and Boracay.
According to Cebu Pacific, affected passengers can either rebook their flights, apply for. a two-year travel fund or request for a refund online, up to 30 days from date of departure.
“This is a developing situation. We may adjust flights depending on government regulations. We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available,” Cebu Pacific says.
