Tokyo's skyline at night

Visitors to Japan can now connect to the Internet at no charge through SoftBank Mobile’s Free WiFi Passport. The service, which was rolled out in July 2015, can be accessed through 400,000 points nationwide. All visitors need to do is choose SoftBank as their roaming network, then dial *8180 (for English) to receive a password. They then need to select SSID from the list of WiFi access points and log in. Upon registration, users can get free, unlimited access to the internet.
