Among the many ways that the coronavirus has changed the way we fly is this: all passengers flying into or within the Philippines are now mandated by the government to update their contact details on the airline’s system before boarding their flight.
Philippine destinations that will require this step include Coron, Caticlan, Bacolod, Kalibo, Davao, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, Butuan, Masbate, Ozamiz, Roxas, Virac and Naga.
The updated information required includes your mobile number and email address, as well as the address where you will be staying in your destination.
This step is meant to enable a more efficient contact tracing for everyone’s health and safety – and Cebu Pacific has made it easier for its passengers to update their details days before their departure date or as soon they receive their booking confirmation.
If you are flying soon, here is how to update your personal details before boarding your Cebu Pacific flight.
Step 1: Log on to the Cebu Pacific Website
Go to bit.ly/CEBmanageflight and log in using your booking reference number and surname. Alternatively, you can enter your GetGo Account details
Step 2: Update your details
Select “Update Guest Details” then input your current contact information and the address where you will be staying in the city where you are arriving.
Step 3: Review the updated details.
Update all remaining necessary fields then click “Continue”. You will be redirected to a confirmation page with your updated details. Make sure these are correct.
